dancing elf viral rises again

Every year elf yourself rises through my most visited post ranks to become one of my most visited posts. It shows the clear success of the OfficeMax viral campaign which launched years ago. I first wrote about the dancing elf in December 2006 here.

This must be one of the most cost effective viral campaigns ever made, though I would be interested in seeing some actual figures. As ever the idea is simple, place your face on an elf who dances for you. This year there might be a change in store – they are whetting your appetite by having a buildup. If you head over today, then you will be presented with a screen announcing its launch in 3 days.
